It is known that the BJP is alleging that the real intention behind the protests against the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) is to change the government. In this context, senior lawyer and member of the protest team Prashant Bhushan said, "Yes, we want to change the government" and his comments have created a political uproar. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh reacted strongly, saying that the internal agenda of the protesters has become clear with these comments.

Prashant Bhushan, along with AISA leader Neha Bora and CJP founder Abhijit Deepke, spoke to the media in Delhi on Thursday evening. "Expressing dissatisfaction with the government is not a crime in a democracy. This struggle is really for changing the government now. If the government acts in this autocratic manner, there will definitely be a change in the system. In the past, the BJP has also launched many movements for a change of power. Will they accuse us of a conspiracy if we are doing this now? Our struggle against this dictatorial attitude and against the government that is suppressing democracy will continue," he clarified.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh reacted strongly to Prashant Bhushan's comments in Lucknow on Friday. "The protesters are conspiring to turn the youth into pawns in anarchic politics. Their aim is to topple the government here too, like in Bangladesh. One of them has revealed this openly, which is revealing their real agenda," he said. Rajnath asked Rahul Gandhi and his followers to stop stirring up unrest in the country and damaging the credibility of constitutional institutions.

On the other hand, the BJP has made a video of Neha Bora, one of the protesters, as an inspiration for them. Referring to this video, BJP national spokesperson C.R. Keshavan said, "The protests against the CEC are just a cover. The real strategy of Rahul Gandhi and his faction is to break the Indian democratic system and seize power through undemocratic methods." BJP leaders are criticizing that the comments of Prashant Bhushan and Neha Bora have exposed their malicious intent to create anarchy in the country.
