The Telangana Housing Board has made a key announcement to the beneficiaries of Indiramma House Towers under the Cure area in Hyderabad city. It has set October 9 as the final deadline for the beneficiaries to pay their share of Rs 1 lakh. It has made it clear that the provisional allotment letters of those who do not pay the money within this deadline will be cancelled without any prior notice.

Telangana Housing Board Vice Chairman and Housing Commissioner V.P. Gautam disclosed these details on Sunday. While provisional allotment letters have been issued to a total of 5,501 people in the 16 assembly constituencies under the Cure area, only 3,271 people (about 59.46 percent) have completed their payments so far. He asked the remaining beneficiaries to also respond immediately and complete their payments online by the deadline.

Commissioner Gautam clarified that there is no question of extending the deadline after October 9. Those who failed to pay within the deadline will have their allotments cancelled and those vacancies will be allotted to about 35,000 eligible applicants on the waiting list, he said. He explained that these allotments will be done through a lottery method in the coming months.

However, since the government is asking them to pay the money online, many beneficiaries who are not aware of the method are worried. For complete information regarding the scheme, allotment and payments, the beneficiaries should visit the official website of the Telangana Housing Board TGHB.telangana.gov.in or contact the Housing Board call center at 040-24603572. They said that information is also being sent to the allottees through SMS and WhatsApp in the name of TGHBOS on their registered mobile numbers.
