The state government sanctioned a huge fund of Rs. 240 crore for development works within the Nellore City Corporation limits. Nellore Rural MLA Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy led the alliance leaders and activists to celebrate in an innovative way. MLA Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy removed the portraits of Prime Minister Modi, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, and Ministers Nara Lokesh and Ponguru Narayana, who contributed to the allocation of these funds. He commented that while the alliance government is moving forward with the goal of development and job creation in the state, the opposition YSRCP has undertaken this removal program so that the Shani distaste and curses being cast on its leaders do not affect them.

Speaking about the upcoming local body elections, Kotam Reddy called for working towards a clean sweep of the alliance in the 72 divisions of the Nellore Corporation. He urged that the mayoral candidate should be made to win the local elections with a huge majority of at least one lakh votes and presented as a gift to Minister Narayana. He said that priority will be given to the 'Gen Z' youth between the ages of 21 and 35 in these elections and that after the party ticket is finalized, everyone should forget internal differences and work together for victory.
