Jana Suraj Party chief and prominent political strategist Prashant Kishor (PK) has showered unprecedented praise on former Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. He described Nitish as one of the ten best leaders in the history of Bihar who was most efficient and concerned about the society. He made these interesting comments while participating in the Bihar Legislative Council election campaign in Vaishali.

Speaking about Nitish Kumar, PK said, "When he was healthy and active, he worked sincerely for the development of the state. However, when he was sick, others ran the government in his name. I opposed many irregularities that took place during that time." He also defended Nitish in the wake of the allegations against JDU MLA Anant Singh and described him as a wise leader. Nitish has strong support in the Patna Graduates constituency. Political sources believe that PK made these comments as part of a strategy to impress those voters. PK is known to have previously served as Nitish's closest aide and JDU national vice-president.

On the other hand, PK also responded to a video clip going viral regarding his comments on Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary. "If the argument that everyone against whom a case is registered at the police station should be shot is correct, then Samrat Chaudhary will also be a criminal on that basis. If my comments are wrong, the government can register a case against me," he challenged. He urged people to vote for education, employment and respect for teachers regardless of caste and religion.

As part of the same campaign, he expressed deep sorrow over the death of 15 children in a boat accident in Vaishali. He announced that he would spend the Dussehra festival with the affected families. He criticized the fact that no one from the NDA government came to visit them.
