In the wake of the local body elections, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has severely criticized the YSRCP, calling it a 'Godali party'. He urged the party to abandon its violent policies and join the mainstream. Speaking at a media conference held with NDA leaders today, he said that the Godali party's approach is not like a political party and that it is working to embarrass the state. Chandrababu described
the 'hit and run'
attitude of the Godali party leaders as being like that of terrorists. "They come from Bangalore, spread fake propaganda in the state and then go back there. This is a 'hit and run' type of affair. In the past, I had called for the Naxalites to join the mainstream. Sitakka, who came from Janshakti at that time, is now a minister in Telangana. Similarly, the Godali party should also abandon violence and join the mainstream," Chandrababu suggested. He made it clear that the party's ideology is criminalization, litigation, and fake propaganda, and that their alliance's ideology is welfare, development, and good governance. Chandrababu alleged that the Godali party does not want the local body elections to be held
as a conspiracy to block the elections
. He said that 62 petitions have been filed to stop the elections. He was furious that they tried to block the process by going to courts on servers, delimitation, and BC reservations. "If these elections are not held, the funds due from the 15th Finance Commission will stop. They do not want local bodies to develop. That is why they created violent incidents during the nomination process," he criticized. Chandrababu said that despite facing challenges and obstacles, the alliance government is moving forward strongly for the development of the state
with the alliance's dharma
. He said that they are not arrogant, but servants of the people and are working with accountability. He explained that the three parties have worked together for a long time on the allocation of seats based on social re-engineering according to population proportions. He said that the fact that
more than 46 thousand nominations were filed for MPTCs and more than 4,700 for ZPTCs is a testament to the people's faith in democracy. He called on leaders and activists to work only for the victory of the official candidates of the alliance given by B.P.A.M. He
asked the people, who gave historic support in 2024, to recognize their two and a half years of hard work and bless them in the local elections as well. Chandrababu said that the vote given by the people will give them new strength and that people's participation is very crucial in the development of the state.
Ours is development, theirs is destruction.. The axe party should abandon violence and join the masses: CM Chandrababu
