Former Rajya Sabha member Vijaya Sai Reddy is known to be forming a new political party. Today, on the occasion of Vijayadashami, he revealed when he will announce his party. An announcement was made on social media that the party's formation program will be held at the A-Convention Center in Vijayawada on November 11th at 11:11 am.
In this announcement, Vijaya Sai Reddy stated that his main agenda is to put an end to the exploitation of two parties and two families in Andhra Pradesh. He said that his goal is to reject caste and religious politics and free the state from the 'Red Book-Rappa Rappa factions'. He revealed that with the blessings of the Goddess, the aspirations of the people are the agenda of establishing the party.
On this occasion, Vijaya Sai Reddy also unveiled his party's principles and the promises he will make to the people. He promised to build an Andhra Pradesh free from droughts and power cuts and to provide irrigation water for two crops per acre. He made key promises like free electricity to every household, providing 100 percent employment and employment opportunities to the youth, increasing the income of poor and middle class families and reducing expenses. He assured that his party would work as a "factory for manufacturing Gen-G leaders" for the youth, fulfilling the aspirations of the people that had not been fulfilled for 80 years.
Vijayasai Reddy was once a close aide of YSRCP chief Jagan and a key strategist in the party. He resigned from the YSRCP after the last elections. Although he thought he would join some major party, he preferred to form his own party. It has become interesting to see what kind of impact Vijayasai's party will have in AP.
