Bollywood's muscle hero Salman Khan shared some interesting and personal details about his family. In the Weekend Ka War episode of the popular reality show 'Bigg Boss 20', he recalled the events of his parents Sushila Charak (Salma Khan) and Salim Khan's wedding. Salman revealed the real reason why his grandfather (mother Sushila's father) opposed their marriage.

Salman said that his parents got married in November 1964, and his grandfather strongly opposed their marriage at that time. He clarified that he did not object for religious reasons as many people think.

"My father Salim Khan was very handsome. Moreover, he was trying to become an actor in the film industry. My grandfather was worried about how his daughter would survive in the film environment. That was the real reason for his opposition," Salman explained. However, he said that his mother Sushila Charak's siblings had a good opinion of Salim Khan.

Salman recalled that after the marriage, his grandfather did not speak to his father (Salim Khan) for almost five years. He said that after the birth of his younger brother Sohail, his grandfather changed his mind. He said that he came from Mahim to Bandra with sweets and reconciled with his son-in-law. "I took away my grandchildren's childhood. I misunderstood the best person in the world," Salman emotionally said that his grandfather felt a lot of regret after that, and that regret lasted until his last breath.

On this occasion, he also shared another interesting thing. Salman said that sometimes his parents would fight and if his mother went to her birthplace, his grandfather would not let her enter the house. He recalled that he would say firmly, "This is not your house. Your husband's house is yours. Go there and resolve the problem. You can come anytime, but don't come after a fight."

In a similar vein, Salman also mentioned the family situation at that time, saying that although they (the children) initially showed some opposition when his father Salim Khan married Helen for the second time in 1981, everything got better with time.
