Actress Mrunal Thakur has strongly reacted to the increasing online trolling of Bollywood actors, especially heroines, targeting their personal lives, clothing and body image. She has come out in support of fellow actresses Katrina Kaif and Kriti Sanon. She clarified that everyone has the right to live their life as they wish and no one has the right to criticize the personal choices of others.
Mrunal made these comments in a recent interview as part of the promotions of her film 'Pooja Meri Jaan'. She responded in the wake of incidents like Katrina Kaif being body-shamed due to her post-partum physical changes and Kriti Sanon facing criticism for the outfit she wore in a jewellery ad. She reminded that both Katrina and Kriti have served the film industry a lot and have gained international recognition.
"We should stop finding fault in everything. It's crazy to see the behavior of some people on social media," she said sharply. He said that it is not right to forget their hard work and success and focus on small things. Mrinal said that once only women were criticized a lot, but now men are also facing similar things. It is known that the jewelry advertisement starring Kriti Sanon was withdrawn by the relevant company in the wake of criticism.
