BRS leader and former minister Jeevan Reddy has changed his party... has the Kalvakuntla family, which he once severely criticized, become better now? State Welfare Minister Adluri Laxman asked bluntly. The minister reacted sharply to Jeevan Reddy's comments on Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. The minister made these comments after laying the foundation stone for the construction of a new 33/11 KV electricity sub-station in Jagityala Urban Colony today. He said that

when Jeevan Reddy was in the Congress earlier, he had severely criticized KCR and KTR as well as the Kalvakuntla family. Jeevan Reddy, who had alleged massive corruption in the Kaleshwaram project... now that he has changed his party, do they all seem truthful? He questioned.

He challenged Jeevan Reddy not to make general allegations about electricity problems, but to show even a single field that is dry without water. He said that it should be remembered that the Chief Minister himself had proposed to induct Jeevan Reddy into the cabinet despite losing the elections.

He said that despite the state being in financial difficulties, welfare schemes are being continued and Revanth Reddy is personally monitoring the power supply to ensure that farmers do not suffer due to the effects of El Nino. He expressed confidence that the Congress government will come to power again in the state.
