The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) is offering a special opportunity to those traveling on national highways. It has announced that a cash incentive of Rs. 1,000 will be given to those who take a photo of the toilets at toll plazas and file a complaint. This amount will be directly deposited in the Fastag account of the travelers. The innovative program has been launched with the aim of improving cleanliness on national highways across the country.

How to file a complaint?

Those who want to avail this incentive will have to use the 'Rajamarg Yatra' app on their smartphone. They will have to take a photo of the unclean toilet at the toll plazas under NHAI with the 'geotag' facility. Then, they will have to submit the photo in the app along with details like their name, vehicle registration number, and mobile number. The complaints received in this way will be verified by the officials using AI technology and manual methods.

Terms and Conditions These

are some important terms and conditions related to this scheme. This opportunity is applicable only to toilets at toll plazas directly managed by NHAI. It is not applicable to toilets at petrol pumps or dhabas. This cash reward will be given only for the first valid complaint received in a day regarding a toll plaza. Also, this reward will be given only once per vehicle during the duration of the campaign.

This program will be implemented till October 31 as part of the 'Special Campaign 5.0' run by the Central Government. The main objective of this initiative is to involve the common man in improving the standards of cleanliness on national highways.
