Popular smartphone brand Redmi launched its new 17C 5G phone in India on Thursday. It is the second phone in the Redmi 17 series to be launched. It features a large battery, 120Hz refresh rate display, and a 50-megapixel camera. The phone will be available for sale on Amazon and Xiaomi online stores from October 7.

The company has set the starting price of the Redmi 17C 5G at Rs. 20,999. The 4GB RAM, 128GB storage variant will be available at this price. The 6GB RAM, 128GB storage model is priced at Rs. 22,999. The phone will be available in Coffee Brew, Dark Knight, and Purple Dawn colors.

This phone has a 6.9-inch HD Plus LCD display. It offers a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 810 nits of brightness. It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor. It runs on the Android 16-based HyperOS 3 operating system. There is a 50-megapixel camera on the rear and an 8-megapixel selfie camera on the front.

The phone is equipped with a 6,000mAh battery. It supports 33W fast charging. It has an IP64 rating for protection against dust and water splashes. 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.4, and USB Type-C connectivity options are available.
