Bollywood actress Vidya Balan's past comments about a bitter experience she faced in the early days of her career are once again going viral on social media. She revealed that a director forced her to come to a hotel room and then removed her from the film.

Vidya Balan recalled that the incident happened when she went to Chennai for an ad film shoot. She said that she had already signed a film and had to meet the director of the film. "Even though I said we would meet at a coffee shop, he repeatedly insisted that we go to the hotel room and talk. When I got suspicious of his intentions, I promptly left the door open after entering the room. With this, he left from there within five minutes," Vidya Balan explained.

However, she claimed that she was removed from the project after this incident. She said that although the director did not make any wrong proposal, she understood the intention of his behavior and acted accordingly. She clarified that although it was not a full-fledged casting couch experience, she acted vigilantly for self-defense. Vidya Balan said that she has not faced many such incidents in the film industry and that she is lucky in this regard. She said that no opportunity is too big to risk safety.
