An engineer.. His monthly salary is Rs. 40 thousand. He quit his job as that amount was not enough for his family expenses. He became a Rapido bike taxi driver. He said that he now earns between Rs. 1 lakh and Rs. 1.2 lakh per month. He said that he is earning a good income while living in his hometown. A woman from Jharkhand shared his experience in 'X' and now it has become a topic of discussion.

An interesting thing that came out during the journey was
that the woman had a conversation with the driver while traveling on a Rapido bike. She asked how much he earns per day. She was surprised when he said that he earns up to Rs. 4 thousand per day. When asked, he replied yes. He explained that his monthly income is between Rs. 1 lakh and Rs. 1.2 lakh. The driver said

that
he used to work as an engineer in a company in the past. He said that at that time, he was earning Rs. 40,000 per month. However, he explained that he had to quit his job as that amount was not enough to meet the family expenses. Despite studying engineering and getting a good job, he chose another path due to financial difficulties. He said that his income increased after becoming a Rapido driver, earning

a good income while staying in his hometown
. He explained that he is able to be close to his family by working in his hometown and is currently satisfied with his earnings. His experience shows that income that can meet the needs of the family is more important than status in a job.

Is a job the measure of success?
The woman who shared this experience in 'X' said that her perspective on success has changed. Many consider studying engineering and getting a job in a reputable company as signs of success. But having a good education does not mean that you will get financial security. Family responsibilities, cost of living, and the area where you work also affect career decisions.

However, one should not assume that every Rapido driver will earn this much income. The important thing to say in this story is that choosing a livelihood that suits your needs, rather than your job status, is also a success.
