Team India is preparing for a five-match T20 series against the West Indies. The first T20 will be played at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow on Tuesday. It seems that there are chances of key changes in the Indian final team for this match. Indian star pacer Bumrah has been rested for the T20 series against the West Indies. With this, left-arm pacer Arshdeep Singh will return to the final team in his place. On the other hand, there is a chance that one of Mayank Yadav or Prince Yadav will also get a chance.

Arshdeep was recently in the Indian team for the only T20I against Japan on September 22. However, he did not get a chance to bowl as the match was reduced to five overs due to rain. He was later not included in the final squad for the matches against Sri Lanka and Pakistan in the 2026 Asian Games. Kuldeep Yadav, who performed brilliantly in the ODI series against West Indies, is likely to be in the final squad for the first T20I as well. Kuldeep, who has taken seven wickets in three ODIs, is likely to replace Ravi Bishnoi.

Vaibhav to replace Sanju?

Star wicketkeeper-batsman Sanju Samson is likely to be dropped. Sanju scored only 9, 7 and 2 runs in the three T20Is in Japan. With this, it is reported that the team management is planning to give a chance to 15-year-old sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi in his place. If Sanju is dropped, there is a possibility of taking another bowler or all-rounder in his place. In this order, it seems that Nitish Kumar Reddy may also get a place in the final team.
