Former minister Nani named the ED and CBI as having said that there was no animal fat in Tirupati laddu. Speaking at the Penamalur assembly, he said, "What better proof is there of how great Tirupati Venkateswara Swamy is than this. They are spreading false propaganda against Jagan that he converted religion and turned it into a vote bank. Will you go to any lengths for power? Shouldn't any caste other than yours be in power?" he asked.
