Tirumala is teeming with devotees. There is a crowded atmosphere on the hill with pilgrims who have come to have darshan of Srivari. Today, as all the compartments in the Vaikuntam queue complex were filled, the queue lines came out and reached the Shila Toranam, which is about a kilometer away. Officials estimate that it will take about 18 hours to have all-day darshan of the Lord (for those without SSD tokens).

Yesterday, Saturday (October 3), 91,296 devotees had darshan of the Lord. Out of these, 32,805 offered talanilas. The hundi income from the offerings offered by the devotees was recorded at Rs. 5.06 crore. TTD officials sold 4.67 lakh laddus. Also, they provided Anna Prasadam to about 3.19 lakh devotees.

Due to the rush, TTD officials are making extensive arrangements for the convenience of the devotees. Drinking water and snacks are being provided to those in the queues. Special arrangements have been made at Ashwini Hospital for those requiring medical services. Officials said that 4,516 people were provided medical services on Saturday. Devotees have been appealed to maintain restraint and cooperate with TTD staff.
