The meeting between Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has ended. In this meeting, which lasted for about half an hour at the CM's residence, the two leaders mainly discussed the latest political developments in the context of the local body elections.

This meeting assumed importance in the wake of the Supreme Court's orders on the local body election process. The leaders reviewed the situation at the field level after the seat adjustment and nominations between the three parties in the alliance (TDP, Janasena, BJP). In particular, it was decided to appease rebel candidates in many places and ensure that they are removed from the contest within the deadline for withdrawal of nominations.

The meeting directed the allies to move forward with complete coordination and not to give rise to any differences anywhere. Similarly, it is reported that the misinformation being spread through fake WhatsApp groups was also mentioned in their meeting.
